Luna Haus is a newly-constructed home that features two spacious bedrooms on each side of the main living space. Each bedroom is equipped with a luxurious king mattress & high quality linens, and the primary bathroom with a big open shower and a relaxing soaking tub. GETTING HERE: Please use Google Maps when getting directions to our place. This will direct you the easiest and most direct route to our house via Avalon → Junipero → Hilton Avenue. Junipero and Hilton are not paved, please drive these roads with caution. Although not required, a AWD car is best on desert dirt roads. WILDLIFE AWARENESS: Our property sits on 2 private acres in the high desert, which means we share the land with native wildlife coyotes, rattlesnakes, lizards, scorpions, jackrabbits, roadrunners and more. Please stay aware of your surroundings when walking the property, especially at night or off the main pathways. WIND CONDITIONS: The high desert is known for strong winds, especially in the afternoons and evenings. We recommend securing loose items and being mindful of doors and windows when gusts pick up. Outdoor cushions and lightweight items should be brought inside or weighed down. DARK SKY ENVIRONMENT: Luna Haus is intentionally located in a low-light, dark-sky zone to protect the stars and night experience. It also means it gets very dark at night please use phone flashlights or outdoor lighting when walking the property and relaxing on the deck after sunset to avoid tripping or stepping on wildlife. POOL & HOT TUB SERVICE: The cowboy pool and hot tub are serviced every Monday & Thursday between 11am–4pm (times may vary slightly). Our technician will access the backyard only and will not disturb guests inside the home. COWBOY POOL SEASONAL AVAILABILITY: To prevent freezing and equipment damage, the cowboy pool is drained and unavailable (typically November through March), but please check with host to confirm availability. The hot tub and sauna remain available year-round.
